The Nanit Sound + Light Machine combines a sound machine, night light and audio monitor in one compact device. It is designed to help your baby settle and sleep more consistently from newborn through the toddler years.

Using it with or without the app
You do not need a Nanit camera or Wi-Fi to use it. Straight out of the box it works as a standalone sound machine and night light using the built-in buttons.
Connect it to your 2.4GHz home Wi-Fi and the Nanit app to add:
- Remote control of sound, light and alerts from your phone, without going into the room.
- Cry detection and audio monitoring.
- Room temperature tracking.
- Routines for wind-down and wake-up.
Sounds and light
- Eleven soothing sounds, including white noise, lullabies and nature sounds.
- Customisable light colours and brightness.
- Night light and an OK to Wake colour function, so your toddler can learn when it is time to get up.
- Control from the Sound + Light app, the Nanit Baby Monitor app or the buttons on the device.
- Google Home integration, which needs a Nanit Insights plan.
White noise is suitable for babies at an appropriate volume.
Power and battery
The machine runs from mains power through the included adapter, and its built-in rechargeable battery gives up to about 8 hours of cordless use, so you can move it between rooms or take it on a trip.
