Zazu Suzy portable baby soother: sounds, timer and fitting

Suzy is a small portable soother that plays sounds familiar from the womb, so your baby can settle in the pram, the car seat or the cot at home.

Getting started

1. Fit 3 AAA alkaline batteries (not included). Do not use zinc carbon batteries.
2. Press the power button to switch Suzy on.
3. Choose a sound: shushing, white noise, heartbeat, ocean, lullabies or lounge music.
4. Press the volume button several times to step to the level you want.

Timer and cry sensor

• The sound switches off by itself after 20 minutes.
• Press the cry sensor button to turn it on. A red light shows it is on, then goes out after 1 minute to save energy, but the sensor stays active for 12 hours.
• When Suzy hears crying, she plays the last sound again.
• The further Suzy is from your child, the less sensitive the cry sensor is.
• Switch Suzy off when you are not using her.

Attaching Suzy

Use the red velcro strap that comes with Suzy. Thread it through the loop on the back and fasten it around the pram, cot or car seat frame.

Keep the volume low, about the level of a soft shower. If you have to raise your voice to talk over it, turn it down.

Care and batteries

• Suzy is not water resistant, so keep her dry.
• Clean Suzy with a damp cloth and never put her in water.
• Take out flat batteries, and do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.
• Do not take Suzy apart if she stops working.
