How to switch your Zazu wall light on and off, change the brightness, charge it and fix the most common problems.

Using the light
How do I switch it on or off?
Swipe your hand underneath the light and it will switch on or off.
Hand gestures only work when the ON/OFF switch on the light is set to ON. If it is set to OFF, the light will not turn on.
How do I change the brightness?
Hold your hand still within 20 cm below the motion sensor. While your hand is there, the light slowly dims and brightens. Take your hand away when it reaches the brightness you want.
How do I charge the light?
The light runs on a built-in rechargeable battery that is charged with the USB cable supplied. When the battery is nearly empty, the small charging light flickers red. It stays lit while charging and switches off when the battery is full.
Use only the USB cable that came with the light, and keep the cable out of reach of children, as long cables are a strangulation hazard.
Fixing problems
The light dims or switches off by itself.
Make sure nothing is within 60 cm below the motion sensor, as it can interfere with the sensor.
The light switches off after a while.
Check the timer switch. When it is set to 20 or 45, the light switches off by itself after 20 or 45 minutes. Set it to OFF and the light stays on until you switch it off.
The small animals do not stay on the light.
Each animal clicks onto the light with a magnet. If one no longer stays in place, send us a request and our team will help.
The animals contain magnets. Keep them away from small children, as swallowed or inhaled magnets can cause serious injury. Seek medical help straight away if this happens.
