Robby the Rocker straps onto your pram or stroller handlebar and gently rocks it so your baby can keep napping. Here is how to charge it, fit it properly and get the best rocking.

Charging Robby
- Charge Robby fully before you use it for the first time.
- Take Robby off the pram before you charge it.
- Open the charging lid and plug in the supplied cable, connected to a standard 5V USB adapter of no more than 2A or 10W. Robby does not support fast chargers.
- The indicator light is red while Robby charges and switches off when the battery is full, after about 2 to 2.5 hours.
- Unplug the cable and close the charging lid so water cannot get in.
Robby does not run while it is charging. When the battery light starts blinking, there are about two hours of use left, depending on the speed you have chosen. A full charge gives about 15 rocking cycles at the highest speed, so the lowest speed that works will make the battery last longer. The rechargeable battery cannot be replaced.
Fitting Robby to the pram
- Park the pram on a flat, level surface and lock the brakes.
- Hold Robby under the main horizontal handlebar, with the buckle facing your child (the cry sensor is on that side) and the buttons facing you.
- Push the strap into the buckle until it clicks, then feed it through as far as it will go by hand.
- Lift the large black lever to tighten the strap one notch at a time until Robby is held firmly.
Robby must hang level on the main handlebar, never on a side bar or at an angle, as this weakens the rocking and shortens the life of the motor. Extending the handlebar as far as it goes gives the best rocking. To remove Robby, switch the cry sensor off, hold Robby underneath with one hand and press the small black lever until the strap releases. Make sure your baby is not underneath in case it slips.
Rocking speeds and the cry sensor
- Press the plus button to start rocking. The red light above it shows Robby is running.
- Use the plus and minus buttons to choose from five speeds. Robby remembers the last speed you used.
- Rocking stops by itself after 40 minutes. To stop sooner, hold the minus button until the light goes off.
- Press the red ZAZU button to turn on the cry sensor. It stays on for 3 hours and rocks the pram for 10 minutes each time it hears crying.
- In noisy places the cry sensor can react to sounds other than crying.
- If the rocking feels weak, check that Robby is charged and level, extend the handlebar and take heavy bags or shopping off the pram.
- The motor can get a little louder over time. This is normal for this type of motor.
Safety first
Robby can be used from birth to 3 years on prams and strollers. It is not a replacement for a caregiver, so never leave your child unattended. Always use the lowest speed that suits your pram and child, never fit Robby directly above your child or within reach, and do not open it. Robby handles light rain only, so take it off and keep it dry if rain sets in. It suits temperatures from minus 10 to 30 degrees Celsius, and cold weather shortens the battery life.
