Nanit Pro camera: night vision, temperature, humidity and alerts

Your Nanit Pro camera does more than stream video. It also measures the nursery temperature and humidity and sends smart alerts, all through the Nanit app.

Night vision switches on automatically, so you can see your baby clearly in a dark room without turning on a light. Two-way audio lets you talk to your baby from the app without going into the room.

Temperature and humidity

The camera continuously measures the nursery temperature and humidity and shows real-time readings on the live view in the app.

1. Open the Nanit app and go to the live view to see the current readings.
2. Set your preferred temperature and humidity range in the app.
3. Turn on notifications so you are told if the room moves outside that range.
4. With an eligible Nanit Insights membership, review historical trends to see how the room changes overnight.

Trends can show patterns such as a room that warms up after the heating comes on or dries out in winter, which can help you adjust heating, ventilation or sleep clothing.

Smart alerts

You choose which alerts you want and how sensitive they are. The camera can send separate alerts for:

• Crying and sound.
• Motion.
• Standing, when your little one stands up in the cot.
• Breathing motion not being detected, when your baby is wearing Breathing Wear and the camera is on a Wall Mount or Floor Stand.
• Temperature or humidity moving outside your chosen range.

Watching more than one baby

If you have more than one Nanit camera, the app lets you switch between cameras or view them side by side on a split screen.
