Nanit Flex Stand and Travel Case: travelling with your Nanit

The Nanit Flex Stand is the portable way to use your Nanit Pro camera at grandparents' houses, on holiday or in a second room. The Floor Stand and Wall Mount systems also include a Flex Stand for travel.

Setting up the Flex Stand

1. Wrap the flexible gooseneck around a bassinet rail, shelf edge or travel cot.
2. Clip the camera onto the gooseneck. No tools are needed.
3. Plug in the camera's power adapter.
4. Open the Nanit app, connect to the local 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and check the view.

Set-up takes about 5 minutes. When you are done, the Flex Stand folds flat into its pouch for packing.

What works on the Flex Stand

• Live HD video with a wide 130 degree view, night vision and two-way audio.
• Sound, motion and cry alerts, and temperature and humidity readings.
• Breathing motion monitoring does not work on the Flex Stand, because it needs the camera directly above the cot on a Wall Mount or Floor Stand.
• Sleep analysis, milestone detection and time-lapse videos also need a Floor Stand or Wall Mount.

The Flex Stand works with Nanit Pro and Nanit Plus cameras and uses the camera's own power supply.

Packing with the Travel Case

The Nanit Travel Case comes in green or grey. It has padded compartments to protect your camera in transit, with room for the Breathing Band, cables and power adapter. It is compact enough for carry-on luggage or a nappy bag.

Tips for travelling

• Check the Wi-Fi where you are staying is 2.4GHz before you rely on the camera overnight.
• Keep the cable well out of reach of the cot or bassinet.
• Pack the Breathing Wear so it is ready when you are back on your Wall Mount or Floor Stand at home.
