Sarah the Rabbit helps children learn when to stay in bed and when it is okay to get up: her eyes close at bedtime and open at wake-up time. Set her up once and she runs on her own every day.

Set the clock
- Unlock the buttons: hold the key lock (music) button until the padlock disappears from the screen.
- Hold the TIME button for 3 seconds.
- Choose 12 or 24 hour time with the arrows and confirm with TIME.
- Set the hours, minutes, year, month and day in turn, confirming each one with TIME.
Set bedtime and wake-up time
- With the buttons unlocked, hold the ALARM button for 3 seconds.
- Set the sleep time. This is when the eyes close, and the red nightlight and a sleep sound can play for 30 minutes.
- Choose the sleep melody and its volume. Choose 0 for no sound at bedtime.
- Set the wake-up time. This is when the eyes open and the light can turn green.
- Choose the wake-up alarm sound and its volume. Choose 0 for no alarm.
- Set the brightness of the orange light that shows before wake-up time and of the green light at wake-up time. Choose 0 to turn either light off.
- Press the ALARM button to choose what is active: sleep time only, sleep time and wake-up time, wake-up time only, or nothing. The screen shows which is on.
Set or change the wake-up time before bedtime. Changing it after bedtime can leave Sarah in the wake state until the next cycle.
Nightlight, sounds and snooze
- Tap the silicone shell to turn on the nightlight. Keep tapping to step through white, red, pink, blue, multicolour and off.
- The nightlight you turn on by hand switches off after 30 minutes, or tap until it is off.
- With the buttons unlocked and no music playing, the right arrow changes the nightlight brightness and the left arrow changes the screen brightness.
- If you turn the screen fully off, it lights up again at wake-up time.
- Press the music button to play a sound for 30 minutes. Press the arrows to change song and hold them to change the volume.
- When the alarm sounds, tap the shell to snooze for 5 minutes. The alarm stops by itself after 1 minute.
Charging and care
Sarah comes with a USB cable. Connect it to a good quality adapter: a red light shows while Sarah charges and goes off when charging is complete. Sarah is for indoor use and is not water resistant, so wipe her with a damp cloth and never put her in water.
Good to know
Sarah suits children from about 2 years, when they can follow a simple rule like waiting for the green light. She is not a toy and should be used with adult supervision. Keep the USB cable out of reach, as long cables are a strangulation hazard.
