The Wonder max is the only smarTrike suitable from 6 months, because it is the only model with a seat that reclines to 140°. Here is who it suits, how to use the recline well and the limits to know.

Who the Wonder max suits
The Wonder max suits children from 6 months to about 3 years. A baby who cannot yet sit unaided is supported by the recline and the 5-point harness, which is why it is the one smarTrike to use under 10 months. It also suits toddlers who nap on the move, because the Wonder and Wonder+ sit upright.
Use stroller mode, with you steering, until your child sits up and reaches for the handlebar, usually around 10 months.

Using the recline for naps
At 140° the seat is not flat. It is about the angle of an airline seat fully reclined, so your child's head rests back and the harness holds them, instead of them slumping forward and waking.
- When the yawning starts, make sure the parent handle is on so you are steering.
- Tip the seat back and pull the canopy forward.
- Check the 5-point harness is done up.
- Keep walking at the same pace. The motion is what keeps them asleep.
The seat reclines with one hand while you walk, and comes upright again the moment they want to play.
Good to know
- The recline is for stroller mode only, with you steering from the parent handle.
- The cushioned seat is warmer than mesh. On hot days, recline less and keep the canopy forward.
- At 6.95 kg it is the heaviest of the three Wonder models, while still under 7 kg.
- Seat fabrics wipe clean with a damp cloth. Store the trike indoors, out of direct sun and damp.
Recline safely
Only recline the seat with the 5-point harness done up, and only in stroller mode with you steering. The Wonder max is the only smarTrike suitable from 6 months.
