Magic nappy bin warranty: what is covered and how to claim

Every Magic nappy bin carries a 1 year warranty, backed by Coolkidz Australia, the exclusive authorised distributor of Magic in Australia. All Magic warranty claims and support in Australia are handled by our team.

What is covered

Your warranty applies when:

• The product has been used under normal conditions, for its intended purpose only.
• The product has been maintained as described in the user manual.
• A valid, dated proof of purchase is provided. This applies to original and second-hand owners.
• The product is in its original condition, with genuine Magic parts only.

What is not covered

• Normal wear and tear, including changes in colour or surface finish.
• Damage from sun exposure, heat, moisture, humidity or pollution.
• Damage from accidents, impact, tipping, misuse or overloading.
• Damage during transport, including as luggage.
• Consequential or indirect loss, including injury or property damage.
• Use of accessories or components not supplied or approved by Magic.

How to make a claim

1. Send us a request with your proof of purchase, a description of the issue, and photos or a video where relevant.
2. If your claim is approved, we will send you return instructions.
3. Once we receive the product, it is inspected against the warranty policy and Australian Consumer Law.
4. We then arrange a repair, replacement, refund or store credit.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

Separate from the warranty, the Magic Australia returns policy allows 30 days from the date of receipt to return a product that is unopened and in its original condition.
