The Heka L is the flagship of the Magic range and the largest bin, with a 40 litre capacity for fewer bag changes. It is telescopic and wide bodied, and uses the same drop and turn wave seal as every Magic bin.

Size and capacity
- Capacity: 40 litres
- Nappies held: Up to 45 (approximate)
- Dimensions: 28.5 cm wide x 63 cm high
- Design: Telescopic, extends in height as needed
- Mechanism: Drop and turn, patented wave seal
- Material: 100% recycled, GRS traceable
- In the box: Bin only
The nappy count is based on newborn and infant sizing. Expect fewer nappies per bag as your baby, and their nappies, grow.
How it works
Drop the nappy into the opening and turn the top. The drum swings the nappy into the sealed part of the bin and the wave seal closes behind it, so odours stay in the chamber below. There are no cartridges to load or film to thread, and the design can be used one handed.
Bring the top back to its resting position after every change. Twist the base to extend the bin as nappies build up, and collapse it again for storage, travel or the car.
Colours
The Heka L comes in seven colours, all with the same mechanism.
- Beige.
- Lichen.
- White.
- Blush Pink.
- Concrete.
- Pigeon Blue.
- Graphite.
Best for
- Busy households that want the biggest capacity in the range and fewer bag changes.
- Rooms with space for the 28.5 cm Heka footprint, the widest in the range.
- Parents who want a second life for the bin: add the Heka bathroom lid, sold in matching colours, and it becomes a regular bathroom or household bin.
Bags are not included
The Heka L ships as the bin only. It works with standard bin liners or Magic bin bags, which are made to fit the wave seal. Avoid very thin supermarket bags.
