Magic Heka M telescopic nappy bin: size, capacity and colours

The Heka M is the medium size in the Magic Heka range. It has the same wide 28.5 cm body and drop and turn wave seal as the Heka L, in a shorter, smaller bin.

Size and capacity

• Capacity: 30 litres
• Width: 28.5 cm
• Design: Telescopic, extends in height as needed
• Mechanism: Drop and turn, patented wave seal
• Material: 100% recycled, GRS traceable
• Bags: Standard bin liner or Magic bag

The Heka M holds fewer nappies than the 40 litre Heka L. Nappy capacity always depends on nappy size, so expect fewer nappies per bag as your baby grows.

How it works

There are no refill cartridges and no film to thread. Drop the nappy into the opening and turn the top. The drum swings the nappy into the sealed part of the bin and the wave seal closes behind it, keeping odours locked in the chamber below. The drop and turn design can be used with one hand, so your other hand can stay with your baby.

Always bring the top back to its resting position after each change. When the bin needs more room, twist the base and the Heka M extends in height. It collapses again for storage, travel or the car.

Colours

The Heka M is sold in Australia in three colours.

• Beige.
• White.
• Lichen.

Best for

• Families who like the wide Heka body but want a shorter bin than the Heka L.
• Homes that want a nappy bin that works with ordinary bin liners rather than cartridges.
• Parents who want to keep using the bin after the nappy years: the Heka bathroom lid fits both the Heka M and Heka L and turns the base into an everyday household bin.
