Magic nappy bags and bag rolls: which bags fit your bin

Magic bins have no refill cartridges and no proprietary bag system. Every Magic bin takes an ordinary plastic bag, and Magic also makes its own bin bags designed for the wave seal.

Which bags work

Most plastic bags and standard bin liners work in every Magic bin, and higher quality bags give the best results. Very thin supermarket shopping bags can stretch or fail to seal around the drum, so avoid them. Magic bin bags

Magic bin bags are made to fit the wave seal for the best odour control. They are three layered, made from recycled plastic, and designed to help lock in odours for up to two weeks when used correctly.

Starter rolls and how long a pack lasts

The Thoth L and Majestic each come with one nappy bag roll and a dispenser in the box. The Heka L ships as the bin only, so you will need bags or a bag roll to get started.

How long a pack lasts depends on the size of your bin and how many nappies your baby goes through. Nappy capacity depends on nappy size, so bags fill faster as your baby grows.

Taking a full bag out

Press the small release button on the side and lift the top off with the bag. Twist the bag a few times to seal it. On a Heka or Thoth, tie the bag and lift it out. On a Majestic, tear it from the holder. Then fit a new bag.
