Assembling your smarTrike: what is in the box, manuals and spare parts

Created by Coolkidz Australia

Most parents put their smarTrike together in under ten minutes, with no tools. Here is what to expect, where to find the manual and what to do if a part is missing.

What is in the box

The Wonder, Wonder+, Wonder max, Wind and Wind+ cartons contain:

  • The trike frame, with the seat, harness and bumper bar already fitted.
  • The detachable parent handle.
  • The canopy: 2-stage on the Wonder, Wind and Wind+, and 3-stage on the Wonder+ and Wonder max.
  • The pedals and footrest.
  • The quick-start guide.

Putting it together

  1. Unpack everything and check it against the list above before you start.
  2. Click the wheels on.
  3. Slide the parent handle in until it locks.
  4. Before the first ride, do up the 5-point harness and try the rear brake: press once to lock and once to release.

The smarTrike manuals page lists a manual for each model sold in Australia, covering assembly, the four modes, folding and care. If you cannot download the one you need, send us a request with your model name.

Which model do I have?

The model name is printed on the frame near the parent handle, and on the box. If you are still unsure, include a photo of your trike when you send us a request.

Spare parts

Spare parts are available for the models sold in Australia, and most are in stock in Braeside:

  • Wheels: the shock-absorbing front wheel and the rear wheels for the Wonder, Wonder+ and Wonder max.
  • Canopies: 2-stage for the Wonder and 3-stage for the Wonder+ and Wonder max, in the matching colour.
  • Harness parts: the 5-point harness, buckles and the bumper bar release.
  • Pedals and the folding footrest.
  • The complete parent handle, with the 360° steering coupling.

For anything not listed, send a photo and your model name and we will source it.

Damaged on arrival

If a part is missing or damaged when your trike arrives, report it within 48 hours of delivery with photos. A faulty product is a warranty matter, not a change of mind return, and it is quicker to sort.
