smarTrike Xtend Ride-on and Xtend Mini+ scooter: stages and ages

The Xtend range picks up where the stroller trike leaves off. The Xtend Ride-on starts as a parent-controlled ride-on at 12 months, and the Xtend Mini+ is an extendable scooter from 2 years.

Xtend Ride-on: four stages

1. Parent-controlled ride-on, from 12 months. Your child sits on the seat while you guide with the parent handle.
2. Ride-on. Take the parent handle off when they are ready, and they push along with their feet.
3. Three-wheel scooter. Remove the seat and extend the handlebar.
4. Two-wheel scooter, for big kids up to about 12 years.

Every change is a click or a lock, so no tools are needed. The handlebars adjust and extend as your child grows, the wheels are no-puncture, and there is storage under the seat.

Xtend Mini+ scooter

The Xtend Mini+ is an extendable scooter that grows with your child from 2 to 9 years. It starts as a three-wheel scooter and converts to two wheels when they are ready.

• The stem height adjusts as they grow.
• The handlebar and deck both extend.
• No-puncture wheels are smooth on footpaths and quiet indoors.
• It folds flat for the car boot, under the bed or onto the bus.
