Bubba's Barrier Cream is Mamave's fragrance free zinc oxide cream for the nappy area. It forms a breathable layer between a wet nappy and your baby's skin.

Nappy change routine
- Remove the wet or dirty nappy and clean your baby's bottom as usual.
- Let the skin dry.
- Apply a thick layer of Bubba's Barrier Cream to your baby's bum or other rash affected areas.
- Put on a fresh nappy. The cream creates a barrier between the wet nappy and delicate skin, helping protect it from moisture and irritation caused by constant rubbing.
- Repeat at each nappy change, as needed.
Other uses
Mamave says you can also apply Bubba's Barrier Cream to:
- Small cuts and abrasions on your baby's skin.
- Dribble rash.
- Skin chafe, such as in arm, leg, neck and tummy rolls.
If a rash or skin problem is not settling, looks infected or worries you, talk to your GP or pharmacist.
What is in it
The cream is fragrance free, because it is applied to delicate areas prone to rashes. It is vegan and cruelty free. Its golden ingredients are:
- Zinc oxide, which creates a gentle, breathable barrier against moisture and irritation.
- Castor seed oil, traditionally used to protect and comfort irritated skin.
- Rice bran wax, a plant wax (and vegan alternative to beeswax) that helps seal in moisture.
- Mango seed butter and MCT oil for softness and hydration.
- Aloe vera and calendula extract to help calm the skin.
- Pomegranate extract for antioxidant support.
The formula also contains apricot kernel oil, olive oil, borage seed oil and sunflower oil.
