MiaMily Carry On Plus: top opening, pockets and wheel brake

Created by Coolkidz Australia

The Carry On Plus keeps the patented built-in seat and child safety belt of the original Carry On, then changes how you pack and adds a wheel brake. This guide covers the features that are new on the Plus.

What is different on the Plus

  • Top-opening shell: the lid lifts vertically to reveal one deep, uninterrupted packing space instead of two halves.
  • Front pocket: reach snacks, toys, a tablet or passports without lifting your child off the seat.
  • Larger waterproof pocket to keep messes contained.
  • Thermal pocket to keep bottles and snacks cool.
  • Wheel brake that keeps the case still while your child is seated.
  • Integrated bag hook so your nappy bag stays attached and your hands stay free.
  • Telescopic handle with four height settings.
  • TSA-approved zip lock and an anti-scratch textured shell.

Specifications

  • Dimensions: 51 × 39 × 30 cm, wheels included
  • Capacity: 43 litres, the same as the original Carry On
  • Weight: 4.8 kg empty
  • Opening: Top-opening, one deep packing space, plus a quick-access front pocket
  • Lock: TSA-approved zip lock
  • Wheel brake: Yes
  • Seat: Built-in, 100 kg total capacity, child seatbelt included
  • Colours: Navy Blue and Burgundy Red

Using the wheel brake

Press the wheel brake whenever the case is parked: before your child climbs on, while they sit at a café table, and when you stop to unload at security. Release the brake before you start pulling again.

With the brake on, the built-in seat can double as a high chair on the go. Always belt your child in and stay with them.

Packing tips

  • Pack the main space from the top. Because the lid opens vertically, the case takes a strip of floor rather than the whole hotel room.
  • Keep your reach-first items in the front pocket: snacks, a drink, wipes, a small toy, the tablet and passports.
  • Put a bottle in the thermal pocket and anything that might leak in the waterproof pocket.

Brake on, belt on

Put the brake on before loading your child, fasten the belt every time and supervise them at all times. Use the seat on flat surfaces only, never on escalators, stairs, travelators or slopes.
