Your MiaMily suitcase has a built-in seat, so your child can ride while you pull. This guide covers who can ride and how to set the seat up safely.

Who can ride
- MiaMily does not set a minimum age. Your child must be able to sit up without help.
- The seat is rated to 100 kg in total, and that figure includes whatever is packed in the case. Older children and adults can sit on it too.
- The Carry On, Check In, Carry On Plus and Check In Plus have a child safety belt. The Carry On Pro has a shell you can sit on but no child belt, so it suits older children, teens and adults.
Setting up the seat
- Stop the case on a flat surface. On the Plus range, press the wheel brake first.
- Lift the seat up from the shell until it locks upright.
- Sit your child facing forward and fasten the safety belt snugly.
- Hang your nappy bag or tote on the hook on the seat back, then raise the handle to a height that suits you.
- On the Plus range, release the brake, then pull smoothly and stay beside your child.
Safety rules
- Always use the belt and always supervise your child.
- Use the seat on flat surfaces only.
- Never use it on escalators, stairs, travelators or slopes.
- Do not use the seat as a step.
When nobody is riding
The seat makes a handy shelf for a nappy bag, tote or briefcase. When you are finished, fold it flat against the shell.
