Your Hannie Portable High Chair straps onto a dining chair you already own, so your child can sit up at the table with the family. This guide covers which chairs suit it, the age and weight limits, and how to pack it for travel.

Check the dining chair first
Attach the seat only to a sturdy chair with four legs, a firm, flat seat and a high backrest. The chair needs to measure at least:
- Seat width: 38 cm
- Seat depth: 35 cm
- Backrest height: 30 cm
Do not use stools, backless benches, swivel, rocking or folding chairs, soft or deeply padded seats, or any chair that is wobbly, damaged or lightweight.
Age and weight limits
- Suitable from around 6 months, once your baby has good head and neck control and can sit with support, up to around 5 years.
- Baby Chair mode (with the Reversible Cushion, harness and tray): up to 15 kg.
- Toddler Seat mode: up to 25 kg.
The Reversible Cushion and its Back Plate Support give younger babies extra comfort and stability. You can remove the cushion as your child grows.
Safety every time
- Read the manual before first use and keep it handy.
- Always fit the 3-point harness.
- Check that both straps are tight before every meal.
- Supervise your child during use and never leave them unattended.
- Never use the seat freestanding on the floor, on a table, or in wet environments.
Folding and carrying
The seat folds flat and slips into the tote bag that comes with it. Packed, it weighs about 2 kg including the Reversible Cushion, and it fits under most stroller baskets.
