Gaia Baby Hera Wardrobe: assembly, shelves and safety

The Hera Wardrobe is a Scandinavian-style wardrobe made from natural ash with walnut A-frame accents. It is sized to move from the nursery to a teen or adult room as your family grows.

Inside the wardrobe

• Two adjustable metal hanging rails behind the double doors.
• Four removable wooden shelves that you can arrange to suit your storage.
• A smooth-action, soft-close drawer at the base for bulky clothing or bedding.
• Deep hanging space that fits clothing up to adult sizes.

Assembly

• The wardrobe arrives in four boxes, each weighing 23.5 to 30 kg, and weighs 106 kg once built.
• An Allen key is supplied. You will also need a cross head screwdriver.
• Assembly is similar to putting together flatpack furniture.
• The assembly instructions include a page on adjusting the doors once the wardrobe is built.
• Keep unused fittings and components somewhere safe and out of children's reach.

Safety and care

• Use the wall strap to stop the wardrobe tipping over.
• Never let children climb on the wardrobe or stand, climb or hang on doors, drawers or shelves.
• Place heavy items down low and never put a TV on it.
• Make sure it stands on a stable, level surface.
• Check regularly that all fittings and screws are tight and undamaged.
• Wipe spills straight away and clean with a damp cloth. For tougher marks, use mild soap and water. Never use abrasive cleaners, strong bleach or harsh chemicals.
• To move it, lift it with another person. Never drag it.
