Gaia Baby Serena Dresser: drawers, changing top and wall strap

The Serena Dresser is a solid birch chest with three deep soft-close drawers. Add the Hera Changing Station on top for the baby years, then lift it off and keep using the dresser in your child's room for years to come.

Using it as a changing station

The Hera Changing Station (sold separately) sits snugly on top of the Serena Dresser and gives you a forward-facing changing space with everything you need in the drawers below. When the nappy years are over, remove it and the dresser carries on as a chest of drawers. The drawers are big enough for adult clothes.

Removing a drawer

1. Pull the drawer out as far as it will go.
2. Lift the locking catch on the left side upwards and push the locking catch on the right side downwards, and hold both in place.
3. With the catches held, slide the drawer runners off the arms of the dresser runners.

Refitting a drawer

1. Pull the arms on the dresser runners out as far as they will go.
2. Slide the arms onto the runners on the drawer sides until they lock in place with a click.
3. Push the drawer in until you feel pressure, then stop pushing. It will soft close by itself.

Safety and care

• Always use the wall strap to stop the dresser tipping over.
• Never open more than one drawer at a time, and place heavy items down low.
• Never put a TV on the dresser, and place no more than 11 kg on top of it.
• Check regularly that all fittings and screws are tight and undamaged.
• Wipe spills straight away and clean with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners or strong bleach.
• To move the dresser, lift it with a second person. Never drag it.
