Gaia Baby Hera Rocking Chair: assembly, cushions and care

The Hera Rocking Chair is a mid-century style nursing chair with a solid wood frame, a gentle rocking motion and deep handmade cushions, in Barley or Dusk with a Natural frame.

Assembly

• The chair arrives packed in two parts.
• It needs only minimal assembly, and an Allen key is supplied.
• Keep any unused fittings somewhere safe and out of children's reach.
• The armrest cushions are removable.

Cushion care

The cushion fabric is 100% polyester with a soft-touch finish, treated to upholstery standards. Inside, the seat and back cushions have a polycotton casing (55% cotton, 45% polyester) with soft hollow polyester filling, and the armrests have a microfibre polyester filling.

• Wipe everyday marks with a damp cloth.
• For tougher stains, use mild soap and water or a mild detergent.
• For a deeper clean, dry clean the cushions or wash them on a very low, cool wash at 30°C or below.

Safety checks

• Never leave your child unattended.
• Check regularly that all fittings and screws are tight and undamaged.
• Use the chair on a stable, level surface, away from open fires and heaters.
• Never let children climb on the chair.
• Do not use the chair if any part is broken or missing.
• Wipe away spills straight away and leave the chair clean and dry.
• To move the chair, lift it with another person. Never drag it.
