Matchstick Monkey Bath Time Boat Set and Bath Slide Set: play and care

Our two bath play sets are designed for splashing, sorting and exploring, and built without the squeeze holes that trap water in many bath toys.

What is in each set

• Bath Time Boat Set: A boat and a wobbler
• Boat Set colours: Red, Blue, Yellow
• Bath Slide Set: One slide and three animal rocks
• Designed for: Babies and toddlers, with adult supervision

Playing with them

• Fix the slide to a smooth bath or tile surface, then let your child send the animal rocks down it.
• Sorting the rocks onto the slide builds hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
• The boat and wobbler encourage imaginative, sensory play and are easy for little hands to grasp.
• Pouring and splashing builds wrist control and cause-and-effect thinking.
• Water play helps set up the water confidence that swimming lessons build on.

Bath time is one of the few moments in the day when your baby has your full attention, warm water and nowhere else to be, which makes it a great time for play that builds real skills.

Keeping them mould free

The classic bath toy problem is a squeeze hole that traps water and grows mould you cannot see. These sets are made without squeeze holes or hidden chambers.

1. Rinse the toys after each bath.
2. Let them drain fully.
3. Leave them to dry completely before the next bath.
4. Do not leave them sitting in standing water between uses.
