What ages are the teethers suitable for?
All Matchstick Monkey teethers are tested for babies and toddlers from 3 months to 3 years.
What are the teethers made from? Are they BPA free?
Yes, they are BPA free. The teethers are made from high-quality, food-grade, non-toxic silicone.
What is BioCote?
BioCote is an antimicrobial technology built directly into the silicone during manufacturing, so it will not wear or wash away over time. It helps reduce microbes on the surface of the teether by up to 99.99% within 2 hours.
Using your teether
How long should I use my teether for?
For as long as your child is teething. Clean it regularly.
How do I clean my teether?
Each teether is a single piece of silicone, so it is easy to clean. Use a steam or cold water steriliser, boil it, or run it through the dishwasher.
Can I put it in the fridge or freezer?
The fridge is fine, and a cool teether can give extra relief on sore gums. Do not put teethers in the freezer, as frozen silicone can become too hard for tender gums.
Can I reuse my teether for a second child?
No. Matchstick Monkey does not recommend reusing a teether for another child. Teethers are chewed hard over months of use, so each child should start with their own.
