The Serena Mini Cot is a compact solid birch cot made for smaller rooms and for keeping your baby close in your bedroom. It comes with its own Australian-made mattress and suits babies from birth to around 2 years.

Mattress heights
Use the upper mattress position from birth. Once your baby can push up on their hands, roll over or pull up on the sides, usually at around 6 months, you must move the base to the lower position, and always before your baby can sit up unaided. The bottom base position is the safest position for the cot base. You can keep using the Mini Cot until your little one is around 2 years old.
Using the wheels
The Mini Cot can be fitted with either feet or lockable swivel castors, so it is easy to wheel from room to room.
- To lock, push the locking tabs on the castors downwards until they lock with a click.
- To unlock, push the locking tabs upwards until the castors release.
The Mini Cot is not designed for co-sleeping. It fits neatly beside your bed, but use it as a standalone cot.
Growing into a cot bed
When your baby outgrows the Mini Cot, the Serena Mini Cot Bed Extension (sold separately) grows the frame from about 90 cm to a 140 cm long cot bed. It includes extended side panels, side rails, a bed base and an Australian-made mattress, and lets you use the bed as a cot bed (2 to 3 years), toddler bed (3 to 4 years) and first bed (4 to 5 years).
Going the other way, the Serena Mini Cot Adaptor converts a Serena Convertible Cot Bed into the Mini Cot. It includes mini cot side panels, side rails, a bed base, wheels and an Australian-made mini cot mattress.
