Are bubbles in the seat normal ?

This is not a manufacturing defect.

Bubbles on the underside of the product are a normal part of the injection moulding production and this is evident in all PU products to some extent. Most floor seats will have similar marks on the underside.

These products are not considered defective and this does not in any way affect the stability, safety or functionality of the product.

What material is Bumbo made from?

The Bumbo floor seat is made from a luxurious, high-quality foam (polyurethane), similar to the foam used in modern day car seats.

Discolouration of your Bumbo Seat?

Discolouration is usually caused by exposure to extreme heat and humidity.  We are using organic colour pigment on all our products and by using organic pigment it is not entirely impossible for colours to fade.  With this in mind, we would advise that you store the product in a dry and ventilated area.

What age can I use bumbo products from ?

The Bumbo® floor seat is intended for babies between 3 and 12 months who cannot sit up unaided. Although the period of use is limited, the floor seat is priceless during this stage of a baby’s development when they are particularly curious about their environment and more content to sit up than lying down. Once your baby can sit up unaided, we recommend the Bumbo® multi seat, which allows more freedom of movement for older babies and toddlers.
